A metal parapet coping caps the masonry wall atop a treated two-by wood nailer with a wood fiber tapered edge strip providing a slope of one-quarter inch per one foot. A waterproofing membrane extends below the nailer and is secured beneath the coping. The coping is fastened with gasketed fasteners spaced per specifications and latched to a continuous metal cleat. One-quarter-inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors are embedded into the masonry wall at twelve inches on center staggered. The wall assembly transitions below with the wall type sized per architectural plans.
