An APS probe base mounts to the duct wall with an intervening one-quarter-inch-thick rubber gasket sized and bolted to match mating flanges. The assembly is secured using three-eighths-inch fasteners passing through the flanges and gasket. The APS probe itself fastens through the base plate into position.
