A coiling door head is framed with a structural steel tube support and enclosed with gypsum wallboard on metal stud framing. The assembly features an exposed 1/4-inch powder-coated plate secured with countersunk fasteners on centerlines, finished with a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch reveal trim. The coiling door mechanism and hood attach adjacent to the framed structural opening per manufacturer requirements.
