The steel roof truss top chord extends through the exterior wall while the bottom flange terminates at the exterior wall framing. Outrigger steel features welded connections, supporting an extended top flange for fascia support. The assembly incorporates a four-inch metal stud framing with batt insulation and gypsum wall board sealed at the beam penetration. The roofing membrane wraps over the vertical insulation and behind the exterior wall finish, while the air barrier wraps over the roof insulation and rigid board. Metal panel MP-3 is aligned with interior acoustical deck panels to ensure continuous seam alignment. An elastomeric transition gasket and a three-quarter-inch sealant joint seal the curtain wall header interface.
