Plastic laminate wall mounted signage is located on the latch side of the door clear of door-swing and mounted at 60 inches to the centerline of the sign from the floor. Characters, symbols, and their backgrounds have a non-glare finish contrasting with their background, featuring characters raised 1/32 inch with corresponding Grade II braille located flush left or centered. Tactile exit signs comply with 2016 California Building Code Section 1003.2.8.6 and Section 11B-703, required at grade level exterior exit doors, doors leading directly to a grade level exterior exit by means of a stairway or ramp, doors leading to an exit enclosure or exit passageway, and exit access doors from interior rooms to corridors or hallways.
