Concrete-filled metal pan treads span between painted steel channel stringers adjacent to the face of the wall with a one-half inch typical clearance. One-and-one-quarter by one-and-one-quarter by three-sixteenths inch angle supports are welded to the stringer and metal pan. One-and-a-half-inch diameter standard steel pipe posts are welded to the top of the stringer unless otherwise noted.
