The jamb condition of a three-way window configuration is set within an exterior wall assembly featuring cold-formed metal stud supports faced with exterior gypsum sheathing, covered by a liquid-applied weather barrier and finished with an exterior insulation and finish system with a mesh backwrap. The window frame is secured to the wall framing using shims as required and tied into custom aluminum brake metal per the manufacturer specifications. The perimeter joint includes a slanted configuration with a backer rod and weep holes spaced at sixteen inches on center for moisture drainage.
