A reinforced precast concrete wheel stop measuring 5 1/2 inches high by 7 1/2 inches wide is anchored to the paving surface using two number four rebar dowels embedded 18 inches minimum into the natural grade and set flush with the top of the stop. The wheel stop length is 6 feet for shared two-stall configurations or 4 feet for single stalls. The supporting paving consists of asphalt concrete over aggregate base or concrete paving surface as detailed on civil drawings, with epoxy adhesive used in lieu of rebar for installations on concrete slabs.
