A tile to parapet transition assembly is constructed over six-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with a half-inch Dens Deck Prime substrate. The roofing membrane base flashing transitions to a Sarnfil flashing secured with a hot air weld at the panel centerline with a dowel pin. A three-sixteenth-inch thick by four-inch long 304 stainless steel angle supports the assembly, anchored with a one-eighth-inch thick by minimum four-and-a-half-inch long 304 stainless steel clip. Each clip is fastened using three quarter-inch by fourteen Dril-Flex screws spaced at one-and-an-eighth-inch spacing. A backer rod and sealant joint seals the transition.
