The assembly consists of one-and-a-half-inch outside diameter typical steel pipe rails spaced at a maximum of five feet on center. Vertical half-inch diameter steel baluster rods are spaced at a maximum of four inches on center. Each baluster rod is welded at both the top and bottom to the steel pipes.
