A one-quarter inch thick copper ground bar measuring eight inches by two inches is mounted at twenty inches above the finished floor. The assembly uses one-inch Bakelite standoff insulators typically positioned across the bar. A number two American Wire Gauge or as shown copper tinned bare conductor runs from the ground well and connects via exothermically welded connections. The bar features typical three-eighths inch holes for grounding attachments.
