A parapet cornice and roof edge assembly ties to a concrete tilt-up panel finished with elastomeric paint. A shaped metal cornice of 20 gauge galvanized steel with a 1/4 inch per foot slope is secured to the panel with 0.177 inch diameter shot pins at 12 inches on center. The roof assembly consists of a built-up roof over plywood sheathing on a roof structure, featuring a 4 inch fibered cant strip and base flashing attached at 6 inches on center. Roofing extends up the parapet under a parapet wall flashing, with 2-piece 24 gauge galvanized iron surface-mounted trim fastened using stainless steel washers at 12 inches on center and sealed with 100% urethane approved sealant. The roof structure ties into a wood or steel ledger detailed on structural drawings, while the concrete tilt-up panel receives concrete sealer or elastomeric paint on top of the parapet.
