The exterior assembly consists of horizontal wood cladding mounted over vertical aluminum battens creating a minimum three-quarter-inch ventilation cavity. The wall framing supports five-eighths-inch gypsum board on the interior side. Below the wood cladding transition, seven-eighths-inch cement plaster is secured over lath with wire ties and finished with a corner bead. A window unit per the window schedule is installed at the header with a three-quarter-inch maximum clearance dimension.
