This platform edge detail features a wood-framed platform supported by a composite steel and concrete floor deck with an expanded polystyrene filler between walls. The platform surface is finished with carpeting specified per finish plans, featuring a Roppe #11 rubber nosing with seventy percent minimum contrast to the carpet color. A two-inch by four-inch wood cleat provides framing support at the edge assembly. Carpeting returns down the vertical face of the platform as indicated.
