This steel coil rail socket support rear plate, fabricated from ASTM A1011 steel measuring 3.500 inches wide by 0.12 inches thick, attaches to the stair riser. The plate features a formed flange with an overall height of 2.44 inches and a depth of 0.63 inches. Three holes with a diameter of 0.31 inches are spaced horizontally across the plate, positioned 1.89 inches above the bottom edge with a 1.75 inch center spacing. The center hole includes a note specifying a one-quarter inch self-tapping fastener to the stair riser.
