A six-inch shotcrete wall bears on a stepped concrete footing at level P2. A double layer of drainage mat is applied against the exterior of the concrete wall along the property line, backed by an asphalt-impregnated board. A four-inch PVC pipe weephole penetrates the first layer of the drainage mat and is sealed to the inner layer, discharging into a six-inch drain tile surrounded by drain rock. Inside the structure, a ten-mil polypropylene vapor barrier runs beneath the floor slab, and crystalline waterstops are specified at all vertical and horizontal construction joints.
