An interior partition wall assembly is framed with three-and-five-eighths-inch by twenty-gauge minimum metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center, sheathed on each side with five-eighths-inch Type-X gypsum board. The head detail incorporates a continuous track at the top of the studs with a one-half-inch clearance for deflection below the line of structure, supplemented by three-and-five-eighths-inch by twenty-gauge stud braces at eight feet on center alternating direction at a forty-five-degree angle with two number six A-point framers. Sound batt insulation is installed over the restroom ceiling, and full-height sound insulation fills the wall cavity. The base of the wall features a continuous floor finish and sealant at the floor track. Interior partitions are attached with point-one-seventy-seven power-driven pins at sixteen inches on center with two-inch each end one-inch embedment per ICBO number twenty-three-eighty-eight.
