A painted steel bollard with a stainless steel finish or similar coating stands four feet tall above the finished deck level. The concrete deck slab receives a polymethyl methacrylate deck coating limited to level L03. A sealant cant bead is applied at the base of the bollard where it meets the deck surface. Steel plates and stainless steel through-bolts secure the assembly through the concrete slab with a bottom backup plate.
