The base cabinet assembly rests on the finish floor and features a four-inch high toe kick. The cabinet front and exposed edges consist of plastic laminate over three-quarter-inch medium density fiberboard with a melamine interior. The bottom shelf is built with melamine on both sides over three-quarter-inch medium density fiberboard with plastic laminate on exposed edges. A top set base is applied at the floor line.
