Standard cold-formed steel framing assemblies for interior non-bearing walls. The track splice configuration incorporates a C-channel track joined with a timber splice plate secured by three number ten screws on each side, with studs connected to the channel using two number ten screws typically. The framing penetration configuration consists of a C-channel track reinforced with trimmed and bent channel tabs connected to the studs with number ten screws. The door knob blocking configuration features a two-by-six flat wood block positioned at thirty-six inches above the floor between double twenty-gauge metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center, finished with gypsum board and aluminum casing around an eighteen-gauge Rediframe door frame. The side view of the non-bearing stud wall anchorage details a deep-leg track secured to the structure with four powder-actuated fasteners, supporting a forty-five-degree angled brace attached with three screws at each flange clipped to form a shoe connecting to the top track.
