An interior wall assembly meets the structural beam and metal decking at the roof level, incorporating fire caulk for firestopping. The structural beam connects to the underside of the metal decking, while the interior wall assembly extends upward with stud framing and insulation. Fire caulk seals the joint between the top of the wall assembly and the structural support above.
