Transition between carpet tile or walkoff mat and epoxy terrazzo flooring over a concrete slab. The concrete slab is floated to achieve the required surface alignments for both flooring materials. A one-quarter-inch aluminum divider strip separates the two finishes and maintains alignment at the joint. A bonding agent is applied beneath the epoxy terrazzo. The carpet tile and walkoff mat are installed as indicated on the finish plan.
