The assembly integrates an aluminum storefront system with a three-by-three structural steel column. Sealant and backer rod seal the perimeter joints around the framing. Brake metal adaptors tie the storefront system to the column, complemented by brake metal matching the storefront color on the exterior face. Two inches of rigid wall insulation fills the cavity behind the framing, with finishes applied per plan and schedule.
