This acoustic wall assembly consists of framing layers finished with gypsum board on both sides, enclosing batt insulation within the cavity. The intersecting wall partition meets the continuous wall assembly perpendicular to form a standard interior junction. Sound attenuation insulation fills the core cavities of both intersecting partitions as indicated on the floor plans.
