A six-foot long precast concrete wheel stop featuring a one-and-a-half-inch chamfer rests on top of an asphalt concrete pavement assembly. The wheel stop measures six inches wide by six inches high and is secured in place using two number four steel dowels, each one foot four inches long, positioned at each end. Holes are drilled through the pavement to anchor the dowels into the subgrade below.
