This two-hour fire-rated partition assembly features two layers of five-eighths inch gypsum board on each side of three and five-eighths inch, eighteen gauge minimum metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Three and one-half inch insulation is installed between the studs. The assembly extends to ten feet above finished floor.
