A conduit raceway is suspended within the fluted channel of an Epic roof deck using a hanger bracket secured with a self-drilling screw to a 16 gauge steel plate. The steel plate spans across the deck ribs beneath a five-eighths-inch DensDeck cover board and six inches of rigid insulation. A removable cap closes the underside of the deck channel, featuring openings coordinated with the general contractor and metal deck manufacturer. The electrical conduit is clamped inside the raceway assembly per electrical specifications.
