A one-half by one-and-one-half-inch concealed steel support bracket fastens to three-quarter-inch plywood backing with two recessed bolts. The shelf attaches to the steel support using two flat head wood screws installed flush with the support. Exposed portions of the metal finish receive a black paint coating. A three-quarter-inch solid surface backsplash finishes the wall assembly above the shelf.
