An existing four-hundred-fifty by four-hundred-fifty millimeter concrete column is reinforced with a carbon fiber reinforced polymer wrap system, utilizing Tyfo SEH-forty-one composite system from ground floor level to level four and GFRP Tyfo SEH-fifty-one between level four and level six wrapped twice around the column. The existing column concrete surface must be prepared to the manufacturer specification with existing column corners prepared with a new chamfer of twenty-five millimeter radius. The existing column contains High Yield twenty-eight millimeter vertical bars with ten millimeter stirrups shown with a one-hundred-fifty millimeter lap.
