A hollow metal door frame connects to a two-hour rated partition framed with non-structural metal studs. The frame is secured to the wall assembly using metal anchors spaced along the jamb. A scheduled hollow metal door hangs from a door hinge attached to the frame. Self-adhesive silicone is applied as needed at the contact interface.
