An upper cabinet is anchored to a wall assembly featuring finish maple veneer unless otherwise noted. The cabinet is secured at the top using two number ten wood screws into the upper horizontal member. A two-inch by two-inch by one-eighth-inch steel angle, two inches long, is fastened to the wall with two number fourteen by three-and-a-half-inch wood screws into backing. These steel angle connections occur at a minimum of two per cabinet or spaced at sixteen inches on center typically.
