An aluminum stair top landing is detailed with a quarter-inch aluminum plate cover extending over the stair top tread. The stair framing connects to an aluminum 4x4 rectangular tube with a quarter-inch cap plate, supported by an aluminum CS6 channel beam. Five-eighths inch diameter stainless steel bolts fasten the assembly, supplemented by three-sixteenths inch fillet welds.
