An international symbol of accessibility sign is mounted on a 1 1/2 inch diameter steel pipe post set in a concrete footing. The pictogram sign requires a 6 inch minimum height border and must be accompanied by an equivalent description directly below. The bottom of the sign is positioned at 60 inches above finished floor, located adjacent to the latch side of single doors or the right side of double doors. Characters and symbols must contrast with their backgrounds.
