A suspended gypsum board ceiling support and bracing system utilizes twelve-gauge hanger wires spaced at four feet on center each way to support the main runners. Twelve-gauge splay wires provide lateral bracing at a maximum forty-five-degree angle. Cross furring intersects the main runners with a maximum two-inch overhang and is secured using either saddle ties with twists or approved furring clips at each intersection. A heavy gauge vertical stud frames into the assembly.
