A reinforced concrete walk with a thickened edge and medium broom finish transitions to asphalt paving. The concrete edge features a half-inch radius tooled edge at the corner. Concrete paving, asphalt concrete, and compacted base are installed per civil plans and the soils report over natural grade or compacted grade. Expansion joints are provided at twelve feet on center maximum perpendicular to edge conditions.
