An aluminum window wall head is mounted directly beneath a cross-laminated timber panel wall. A foil-faced self-adhesive membrane applies across the timber substrate for weatherproofing. A backer rod and sealant joint seals the interface between the timber panel and the window frame. An aluminum break metal trim appears beyond, alongside a gypsum wall assembly further in the interior.
