A structural steel beam is integrated within a shaft wall assembly framed with C-H shape metal studs spaced at twenty-four inches on center, sized and gauged per structural plans. The framing is faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board over metal stud framing with a painted finish. Full-depth batt insulation fills the cavity between the framing members.
