The jamb condition for an insulated steel sectional door is anchored to a structural wall. A 3/8-inch bent plate jamb guard extends to plus 4'-0" and is secured with 1/2-inch diameter wedge anchors spaced at 24 inches on center. The jamb guard is finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel. An L6x6x1/4 angle with 3/4-inch Nelson studs at 24 inches on center anchors the track assembly. A weather seal is provided all around, and the door's dead bolt latch is positioned 6 inches above the jamb guard.
