An aluminum alloy T-mold transition strip joins scheduled luxury vinyl tile flooring to scheduled slip-resistant safety flooring at a door threshold. The floor transition occurs at the centerline of the door leaf. Sub-floor build-up varies as necessary to achieve a flush transition aligned with the transition strip.
