Groundcover planting utilizes four-inch pots or one-gallon containers installed with the top of rootballs three-quarters of an inch above the planting soil typically. Imported wood mulch is placed with a two-inch layer, ensuring it is not installed within two inches of the crown. The continuous bed consists of a twenty-four-inch minimum depth of amended imported planting soil placed over a scarified subgrade.
