A continuous hollow structural section measuring 3-1/2 inches by 2-1/2 inches by 1/4 inch frames into a steel angle ledger secured against a precast concrete wall panel. The steel angle ledger is welded with a 1/4-inch fillet weld on three sides. A steel bar joist bears below the framing, sized per the roof framing plan, with a 2-1/2-inch vertical clearance dimension indicated. An 18-gauge, 2-inch-wide galvanized continuous strap runs on top of the plywood sheathing over a nailer, fastened with two rows of boundary screws and four lines at nailing zones F or higher, welded with a 3/16-inch typical fillet weld.
