This assembly details a pipe penetration through a roof structure, incorporating a hot-air welded base flashing that extends at least eight inches above the roof surface. The pipe is secured with aluminum tape and capped with a membrane cap. The base flashing is integrated into the R01 roof assembly using roof fasteners. A vapor barrier is turned up to the full height of the roof insulation and is lapped and sealed to the air and water barrier.
