The assembly features a nine-inch wide by nine-inch high matte acrylic faceplate with removable end caps. The upper portion holds permanent raised text, one and one-half inches high, with corresponding grade two braille below, rendered in Helvetica Neue 55 Roman font. A lower removable section contains a printed paper insert with a room description behind a three-eighths-inch thick matte acrylic face. An additional three-quarter-inch printed message in Helvetica Neue 55 Roman font is included on the insert area.
