A prefabricated trench drain with a removable stainless steel grate is set into a concrete slab topping. Steel angles size 2x2x1/4 inches with 1/4-inch diameter by 4-inch studs welded at 24 inches on center or two each side support the drain edge. An alternate angle size 3x1-1/2x1/4 inches with 3/8-inch diameter expansion bolts at 24 inches on center or two each side anchors the assembly to the surrounding concrete. The installation includes conditions at a ramp with a traffic coating finish and a loading dock entry with a heavy broom finish topping slab.
