An existing ductwork sleeve penetrates through a concrete roof and extends upward inside an insulated premanufactured roof curb mounted over a continuous cant strip. The ductwork is reinstalled and anchored to the sleeve using fasteners with rubber washers spaced at six inches on center. A continuous sealant bead and twenty-four gauge galvanized sheet metal counter flashing protect the upper joint. A continuous termination bar with three-course flashing and fasteners with rubber washers at eight inches on center secures the curb cap around the duct opening. Flashings extend twelve inches minimum above the roof surface.
