An intumescent wrap strip and intumescent sheet line the perimeter of a bus duct penetrating a concrete floor structure. Channel supports secure the assembly while wire ties stabilize the intumescent sheet against the opening. Fire-rated sealant is applied at the top joint between the bus duct and the floor slab. The installation complies with rated assembly UL C-AJ-6001 for a maximum 3-hour rating.
