A 20-gauge metal fascia flashing system wraps the exterior edge, seated over a Dens Deck or approved equal substrate. Eight-inch steel studs are anchored directly to the concrete exterior wall using mechanical fasteners. Metal flashing with caulked joints is installed at the top cap and junctions to prevent moisture intrusion. All horizontal and vertical joints are sealed with caulk.
