Sprinkler heads must be located within a three-inch diameter tolerance circle centered on the ideal point dimensioned on the reflected ceiling plan. For linear alignment, the sprinkler head must fall within a one-and-one-half-inch offset tolerance line relative to the ideal centerline. This rule ensures consistent head placement within the ceiling grid system.
