A stainless steel make-up deck plate is fabricated from a one-quarter-inch thick plate spanning one foot, seven and seven-eighths inches. The plate is supported by a stainless steel structural angle measuring 4x4x1/4 by two feet, six inches long. A one-eighth-inch fillet weld connects the components.
