A concrete walk with a thickened edge meets a cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter assembly over a prepared base and natural grade. A half-inch expansion joint separates the walk from the curb. The curb features tooled half-inch radius edges, a one-inch radius inner transition, and a three-eighths-inch lip above the gutter flow line. A one-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC weephole is installed at eight feet on center, sloping down toward a rock pit. Asphalt concrete or concrete paving abuts the opposite side of the curb.
